Classic sugar cookie recipe, adapted from Martha Stewart
- 2 c flour
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/2 c (8 T) unsalted butter
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 1 large egg (or egg replacer)
- 1 t vanilla
Cream butter at room temperature with sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and egg. Then add dry ingredients.
